The Covid-19, which has been occurring since several months ago, offers a pivotal lesson on infectious viruses that spur pandemics and how we react, either as a personal, community or national decision-maker.
Covid-19 has become Transboundary Disease, not only as an influenza disease entity that can be a self-recovery or self-restraint, but also requiring observation from broad perspectives. A transboundary disease may mean that Covid-19 becomes a multi-spread infection that disturbs many areas of life. This condition is likely to lead to a communicable infection among people, pets, and wild animals, signed with the changes in social and economic development, new agricultural practices, population density and poor community migration.
One of the essential aspects that all stakeholders should focus on is Covid-19 from the perspective of Health Security as a core element for national defense supported by Indonesian Army (Tentara Nasional Indonesia/ TNI) as a frontline defense.
